My Projects
Day by day, I dedicate time to understanding global environmental issues and exploring ways to contribute to a more sustainable world. This passion drives me to seek practical solutions, not just in theory but in real-life applications, aiming to protect our world and create lasting positive change.
DEco PROJECT - LEADING DOUBLE ECO
After deciding to focus on environmental sustainability, I met Hân - my senior at my high school, who had plans to start a project on green finance and sustainability. Together, we co-founded DEco Project, the acronym for Double Eco of Economy and Eco-friendly, with our aim to generate eco-friendly and sustainable solutions to help the community. Our first initiative was to help disabled artisans at Thương Thương Enterprise sell handmade recycled cards, generating an initial income of 5 million VND, which has steadily grown over time.

As we worked during the first season, we were inspired by old bicycle-powered energy generators in Hanoi parks and thought this could be an interactive educational tool to raise awareness about energy conservation among children. We collaborated with Mr. Hiền, the original creator, to simplify and introduce the model at two schools, accompanied by sustainable energy workshops. Seeing the children's excitement as they raced to generate electricity by pedaling made me feel proud and validated in my mission.

Upon becoming president of the project, I shifted the focus to sustainable solutions, particularly addressing soil erosion and waste reduction. Building a productive and motivated team, I raised funds to plant 130 trees in Xuân Liên Forest, contributing to biodiversity and preventing soil degradation. Later, I organized a workshop in Hang Kia, Mai Châu, where I taught children about waste classification using visual aids, as many spoke limited Vietnamese. I also introduced organic fertilizers to local farmers, hoping to improve soil health in the area.

PHÊMENT
- BEYOND THE EXPERIMENT
I stumbled upon an opportunity with Phêment when excess kombucha from my experiments wasn't selling, prompting me to create a kombucha tea start-up. While experimenting with the formula, I faced challenges like bottles exploding or kombucha turning bitter quickly, but I persisted. After refining the product and branding it with a fresh, youthful image, we successfully launched. Despite delivering in small quantities, we received positive feedback, encouraging us to continue developing new flavors and dedicating future profits to charitable causes, particularly for children affected by floods. We are experimenting with a new flavor by mixing fresh mulberries, so hope it can come out in stock soon!
TEDx TALK - SPEAKING WITH PURPOSE
I once feared public speaking after a discouraging experience, but a friend's encouragement to apply for a TEDx event reignited my determination. After rigorous preparation, I was selected as one of five speakers to present before 200 attendees. My talk focused on curiosity—how my innate curiosity fueled my passion for environmentalism. Overcoming my fear, I delivered the speech, which became one of the most rewarding moments in my journey, inspiring me to pursue more public speaking opportunities.
BIOLOGY TEACHING GROUP LEADER -
PROMOTING EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES
Having benefited from biology resources provided by older students, I wanted to give back by helping others. As a member, and later as the leader, of the Biology Teaching Group, I created extensive lesson plans, practice questions, and organized discussions to support students, especially those with limited access to additional tutoring. I mentored two students, one of whom excelled to join the national biology team, and another who successfully entered a top high school despite living in a remote area. It was fulfilling to know that my efforts helped them overcome their challenges and succeed.
